Luis began studying piano at the age of 6. He delved into classical music for many years until he decided to complement his studies with other, more modern styles such as jazz, pop, rock, and even electronic music. At the age of 20, he set up a simple music studio in his bedroom, where he began composing and producing his own pieces. For many years, he was simply experimenting, learning, and participating in small projects until, in 2019, he decided to embark on his own musical project: a Spanish indie pop/rock band called “Otra Historia”. The band’s debut album, “Palabras mutantes”, was released in 2023. This milestone encouraged him to venture further and start showcasing his songs and musical productions to the world under his artistic name, Luiisred, which go beyond pop, encompassing many musical influences, from classical to electronic music. Always with the intention of conveying emotions through highly descriptive music, focusing on one of his passions: film soundtracks.
