Otis ‘Birdy’ Voegeli is a versatile Swiss artist from the State of Valais, known for his multidisciplinary approach ranging from graphic design to video production, but primarily focused on musical production. From the age of 16, Otis explored music on his own and quickly began composing his own pieces. This early passion led him to found his first rock-electro band, which reached the finals of the “”Talents Valaisans”” contest, affirming his potential in his state’s musical landscape. In 2019, Otis launched his solo project under the name OWBY and introduced “”ROAM,”” a single that achieved notable success with over 21,000 views on Facebook, demonstrating his ability to captivate an online audience. After this initial success, he temporarily paused OWBY to focus on an ambitious film project. Otis produced and directed “”Jiyan: la vie,”” a film that swept through international festivals, winning 25 awards from London, New York, Los Angeles to Bali, showcasing his ability to tell impactful stories across various media. Buoyed by these successes, Otis decided in 2024 to relaunch OWBY with an ambitious project titled “”Big 9.”” This project involves the production and promotion of nine songs aimed at firmly establishing OWBY in the Swiss and international music scenes. To do this, he collaborates with Liza Mazur of Mazur MGMT, an experienced professional affiliated with Universal, who helps refine the artistic direction and maximize the project’s reach. With “”Big 9,”” Otis ‘Birdy’ Voegeli aims not only to reconnect with his fans but also to attract a new audience, thanks to a fusion of innovative sounds and captivating visual storytelling. Each track is designed to offer an immersive experience, strengthening OWBY’s presence in the music industry through targeted promotion strategies and dynamic live performances.
