Details Press Release.

La Bellière. Philippe de Ferrière releases his fortieth album! "I haven't released anything since 2020 and the album Tombelaine . Covid-19, of course, has disrupted our daily lives," says Philippe de Ferrière , who has just released his fortieth album. Philippe de Ferrière's New Age style is inspired by artists like Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Mike Oldfield. It's electronic music that takes its audience on a journey. I compose first and foremost for myself, for my own pleasure, but also for my loved ones. And if I can share it with other people, that's great. But for the thirty years I've been in the circuit, I know how difficult it is to break through: I'm not giving up just yet! A few years ago, in 2019, Philippe de Ferrière brought his musical touch to the Château de Chambord, with a photo projection, accompanied by his music, a great moment for the public. "I can consider repeating this experience with other places in the region," emphasizes Philippe de Ferrière. TO LEARN MORE CLICK HERE

Artist Bio.

Philippe, a native of Douvres la Délivrande in France, began composing at the age of 17. In 1997, he released his first album, Bleu. He is heavily influenced by the music of Vangelis, Jarre and other electronic music composers. After 10 years of composing and several albums to his credit, he gave his first concert during the Fête de la Musique at the Château Royal de Chambord on 21 June 2008. He will be back on 21 June 2014 and again in 2019 with another artist, Alexandre Dominois. Philippe is a self-taught composer who is the sole master of his art. He composes, records, designs his album covers and makes each CD to order. Despite his 40 albums and more than 400 tracks composed over the last 30 years, he remains a very discreet artist, unknown to the general public. He remains faithful to his way of composing and sees his art as a way of showing that you can do great things with little. No doubt he’ll be back in Chambord in 2025 to celebrate 30 years of musical creation!
