Born in Lecce, Italy, Giorgio Tuma’s musical journey transformed upon discovering STEREOLAB, expanding his appreciation to artists like Nick Drake, Tim Buckley, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Brian Wilson. He began composing songs reflecting youthful memories intertwined with fantastical themes of fairs and circuses. Forming OS TUMANTES, Tuma released his debut album, “Uncolored (Swing’n’Pop Around Rose)” in 2005 under L’amico Immaginario, showcasing his Brazilian music influences and jazz inclinations. His subsequent albums, “My Vocalese Fun Fair” (2008) and “In The Morning We’ll Meet” (2011), released through Elefant Records, received critical acclaim for their delicate melodies and rich arrangements.
