ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Nature Set emerged when Reenie Hollis, bassist and vocalist of The Long Blondes, joined forces in early 2025 with punk luminaries Daf, Marie and Claire—graduates of Sheffield’s underground Navvy collective—to forge a new anarchic punk-pop quartet. Conceived under Elefant Records’ New Adventures in Pop banner, Nature Set channels the unbridled festivity of The B-52’s through a gritty, razor-sharp lens. Recorded at Alan Smyth’s 2fly studios—renowned for defining the sounds of Pulp, Arctic Monkeys and Richard Hawley—their debut EP crackles with raw urgency. The title track “Enough Is Enough” surges forward on spiky guitar riffs and youthful abandon evoking early Kaiser Chiefs and the Ramones. “You or Nobody” pivots to a radiant post-punk groove anchored by wonderful gang vocals, while “At Least Not Today” melds hyper-addictive melodies with knee-jerk synth lines and a punk-pop attitude reminiscent of Echobelly, Blondie and Rocket from the California coast. The closing cut “The Engineer” plunges into darker post-punk textures without sacrificing the EP’s infectious momentum. Driven by a “songwrite by committee and pass the mic” philosophy, Nature Set builds an exhilarating collective spirit that resonates far beyond local stages. They have already begun captivating audiences.
