Artist Bio.

Robinson Proaño, better known as Bombotunes, is an Ecuadorian music producer who has revolutionized urban music, taking his art beyond national borders. He began his career in 2005 as a DJ and singer, but in 2008, he decided to delve into music production due to the lack of reggaeton producers in his country. His first major success came in 2010 with “Yo Soy Tu Marido,” performed by Nick The Hitman and Bebo Yau, marking the start of a career full of innovation and collaborations. Between 2011 and 2014, he released tracks like “Quítate la Ropa,” “Sexo y Nada Más,” and “Bien Buena,” positioning himself as a reference in the urban genre in Ecuador and Latin America. In 2014, his hit “Bien Buena” was included in the Universal Music Spa in compilation Caribe 2015, gaining over 3 million streams on Spotify and consolidating his international projection. During the pandemic, Bombotunes showcased his versatility with songs like “Un Perreito en Cuarentena,” which went viral on TikTok, and the explosive track “Que Me Deje Coja Si No Next,” in collaboration with Peruvian DJ Peligro, which became a global phenomenon on social media. In 2022, he released his album Juguito de Perreo, composed of 23 songs that reflect his maturity and creativity, achieving great success on digital platforms. He continues to set trends with new singles, international collaborations, and projects that establish him as a leader in the urban genre, taking Ecuadorian music to global stages.
