Artist Bio.
Erigeneia was born and grew up in the historical centre of Venice. Having started playing the piano at a young age, as a teenager he was introduced to the music of J.M. Jarre, which immediately inspired a deep love for the electronic and cinematic genres. He is currently based in Berlin. While his main focus is on dark ambient and drone, he has also published neoclassical (for example Addio) and EDM compositions (Escape,The Pioneer) . Erigeneia loves to combine elements of dark, experimental electronic music with more classical sounds. A sense of mystery, fear and drama is found across many compositions, with pianos, pads and synths working together to stimulate the listener’s imagination, taking him/her on a journey. Erigeneia’s work is mainly influenced by Vangelis, JM Jarre and Adam Young, along with the great composers of classical music. Erigeneia loves to combine his music with AI generated videos to share on social media platforms, mainly focusing on space exploration and other science fiction related themes.
