Artist Bio.

Born in 1984 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. 1994–2003: Attended Secondary Grammar School in Litovel. 2003–2008: Studied at the Conservatory of Jaroslav Ježek in Prague, focusing on composition and piano. 2008–2011: Pursued composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, studying under Professor Milan Slavický. Since 2011: Private lecturer in composition and piano, catering to beginners and established composers, employing my own textbook and methodologies. 2022–2023: Served as a lecturer on improvisation in the “Jazz Focus 8-80” project. Post-2011: Proficient in various musical languages, from simple pop melodies to complex avant-garde structures, adept at combining them seamlessly. Post-2011: Continued composing for various artists, bands, and chamber groups (Blue Hats, Four Seasons Saxophone Quartet, Doležal String Quartet, Marek Buble, David Šugárek), with over 60 compositions spanning diverse styles. Collaborated with lyricists and singers, including Vladimíra Krčková. Post-2022: Realized 12 “film-like” composition studies and other unreleased sketches after the Composers Summit in Prague. Released Albums: “The Jazz Garden” (featuring swing to free jazz), “Day Dreams” (instrumental popular melodies), “Trumpet Concerto” (for Trumpet, Harpsichord, Prepared Piano, and Orchestra), “Neon Mandala” (electronic jazz). 2024: Commissioned to compose for the renowned baroque group Nivalis Barokk. Stage Experiences 2008–2012: Toured with the popular group The Tap Tap across Czech Republic and Europe. 2017–2020: Played under the “Live Jukebox” company, performing at various venues with jazz guitarist and singer Roman Köhler.
