Regina!d, an emerging artist from Hogansville, Georgia, has always had a passion for music and storytelling. His journey began with poetry, where he mastered the art of conveying deep emotions and stories in just a few words—a rare gift that set the stage for his future endeavors. A little over a month ago, Regina!d embarked on his musical journey, inspired by his brother, Jaxon Gállery (formerly known as Bryan J). After receiving a few beats from him and being asked to write to them, Regina!d discovered a new avenue for his storytelling. This led to a bold commitment in April 2024: a 30-day challenge to record one song per day. Each day, he intentionally selected beats from various genres, pushing himself to explore different melody structures and song formations. At the heart of Regina!d’s music is love. Regardless of genre or tempo, he strives to tell stories about love, weaving it into every note and lyric. His dedication and hard work culminated in his debut EP, “I’m a Maverick.” This title holds dual significance: it honors his son, Maverick, who is his greatest inspiration, and it represents his refusal to be confined by musical boundaries. Each track on the EP is distinct, spanning multiple genres, yet all are authentically him. “I’m a Maverick” is a declaration of Regina!d’s artistic independence and his unique approach to music. His songs are a reflection of his inner world, and he invites listeners to join him on this journey of love and self-expression.
