Can you tell us about the origin of the band name, a history of the band and a little bit about the various members?
The name for my solo project, “Errikos Bloukos,” is quite straightforward as it’s based on my own name. I wanted to keep it personal and authentic, as this project represents my individual musical expression and creative vision. My solo music project began several years ago when I decided to explore my own musical ideas and compositions more deeply. While I’ve been a part of various bands and musical collaborations over the years, I felt a strong desire to create music that was a direct reflection of my personal musical influences and emotions. Artist Bio.
I began playing with death metal bands like Vice Versa, Rise and Rebirth, and Isolation. These experiences helped me grow as a musician and gain recognition in the metal community. In 2020, I decided to start recording my own tracks and developing my own projects. This creative venture led me to work with Alcyone Records, and on May 23, 2023, I released my debut solo album, “”Wuthering Minds.”” The album received great reviews and helped establish my name as a solo artist.
Following the album’s release, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by several prominent metal music platforms, including Metal Invader, Metal Roos, and Metal Asylum. These interviews gave me a chance to share my journey, influences, and creative process with a wider audience.
Recently, I’ve expanded my musical work to include composing soundtracks and themes for short films and video games. This new direction has allowed me to blend the raw energy of metal with the cinematic and interactive elements of these media. My journey from Athens to the global stage has been incredible, and I’m constantly exploring new creative avenues. Music is my life, and I’m excited about what the future holds.
